Netgear is one of the famous company. It is the world’s safest, fastest and smartest wireless router. In today’s era, most of the homes have multiple Wi-Fi enabled devices that require steady, strong and uninterrupted WiFi signals. There are many users that complaints that they are facing problem in setup process of their Netgear wireless router. The problem is that routerlogin.net is not working. To fix this issue, you have to make sure that you are entering the correct URL. Also, make sure that the web browser that you are using to access the web address should not be loaded with cookies, cache, malicious files and browsing history. 



Steps to Configure Router with Netgear Genie

  1. Follow below steps to configure WiFi router with a cable internet connection by using Netgear Genie:
  2. Firstly, unplug modem and router from the power cords. 
  3. Connect Ethernet cable to the Internet port of the router with modem.
  4. Connect LAN port of router and computer by using an Ethernet cable.
  5. Re-insert the back-up battery of router and reconnect it with modem with power supply. After that wait for some time so that all the LED lights achieve a solid stage. 
  6. Open any updated web browser of your choice. Enter routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1 IP address in the address bar.
  7. Enter username and password in the Netgear Router login credential. Click on Sign in button.
  8. After that, you will directed to the Netgear Genie setup page. Click on Advanced option and then Setup Wizard.
  9. Tab on Yes option and then click on Next button.
  10. Click on the test internet connection after completed the setup process. 

Quick Steps to Setup Satellite Connections Through Routerlogin.net

  1. Disconnect modem with Netgear WiFi router device. Also, try to connect your computer or laptop with Netgear WiFi router.
  2. Connect Netgear WiFi router and your device with power supply. Open any web browser and enter routerlogin.net in the address bar of your web browser.
  3. You will redirected to Netgear router login page. A login window will displays on the screen. Fill the login credential and click on Sign in button.
  4. Click on the Advanced option.
  5. Tab on “LAN IP Setup”.
  6. Change you IP address from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.0.1.
  7. Click on Apply button. Also, remove power supply from the respective devices.
  8. Try again to access the Netgear router login page from laptop. Visit Netgear Setup Wizard from your laptop or desktop.
  9. Click on Yes button and then on Next button.
  10. At last, click on save button.
